The IAL SoftTouch series provides our customers with virtual keyboards for modern windows-based hand scanners and forklift terminals. Two versions are available: the IAL SoftTouch for handhelds based on Windows CE and the IAL SoftTouch for PCs on a Windows XP-Basis. The operation of these terminals is simplified through the variable configuration of any size "keys". In many cases, the virtual keyboard allows the use of devices with reduced keyboards or even without keyboards altogether. In addition the operative range of the devices can be intentionally limited for specific users. The operator has available only those functions and keys which the task requires. The screen is completely filled with the application window and the virtual keyboard. Access to other windows programs such as the Internat Explorer is prevented. SoftTouch for Windows CE Input to the handheld terminals can be made on the available keys and/or using the virtual keys on the touch pad of the IAL SoftTouch for Windows CE. The appropriate keys on the touch field are configured to customer specification. The assignment of functions to keys can be freely chosen. Macros can also be assigned to keys. The number of keys is limited only by the available screen area. SoftTouch für Windows XP An growing number of forklifts are being outfitted with wireless terminals in many warehouse. Increasingly, industrial PCs with touch screens based on Windows XP are being used. The devices can be configured individually and the touch screen allows a user-friendly design for input and display. The layout of the input keys is configured according to customer specification. The screen display is a combination of emulation window (application window) and virtual keyboard. To access all functions, please activate Style Sheets und JavaScript. |
